Quick Brief (required for cold/LinkedIn)
This prevents generic output like “service/category”.
Keep it tiny: one-tap reply or one small detail only.
Optional extra detail that makes the rewrite feel more human and specific.

Rewrites are generated via a server API (Groq primary, Gemini fallback). We don’t store your text unless you submit optional feedback. Shortcuts: Ctrl/⌘+Enter (generate), Ctrl/⌘+Shift+C (copy best).

    What How It Lands Does

How It Lands is a message perception simulator that analyses your text using deterministic scoring rules—no external AI APIs, no server calls. Paste any email, DM, or message and instantly see how it's likely to be perceived across seven dimensions: clarity, warmth, confidence, trust, pushiness, AI-written, and risk/compliance.

The tool then simulates reactions from six audience personas (CFO, busy manager, skeptical buyer, friendly peer, annoyed customer, hiring manager) and generates quick rewrites you can apply with a single click. All processing happens in your browser—your text stays private.

    Who it's for

    • • Cold emails, proposals, and pitches
    • • Support replies and apologies
    • • Hiring messages and applications
    • • LinkedIn posts and DMs
    • • Negotiations and tricky conversations
    • • Any message where "tone" matters

    FAQ

How does the perception scoring work?
The tool analyses linguistic patterns including sentence length, hedging words, filler phrases, politeness markers, and AI-typical clichés. Scores are weighted based on your selected audience persona—for example, a CFO values clarity and brevity, while an annoyed customer prioritises warmth and accountability.
Is my message stored or sent anywhere?
No. All analysis runs entirely in your browser using deterministic scoring rules. Your text is never sent to a server unless you explicitly choose to include it in a share link.
What is the "Sounds AI-Written" score?
This flags common AI-generated phrases like "I hope this message finds you well", "leverage", "seamless", and similar corporate clichés that make messages feel templated and impersonal.
Can I use this for cold emails and sales outreach?
Absolutely. The tool was designed specifically for high-stakes messages where tone matters—cold emails, proposals, follow-ups, LinkedIn DMs, and negotiation emails all benefit from perception checking.
Will the rewrites change my meaning?
The rewrite system uses safe transforms and toggle-based fixes so you stay in control. You can lock greetings and signatures to preserve your voice while improving clarity, warmth, or confidence.
